Pre Resurgence press conference and meet and greet!

Main event: IWGP World Heavyweight Championship- Jon Moxley vs Shota Umino

Singles record: 1–0 Moxley

A five year journey in the mentor protege relationship for Shota Umino and Jon Moxley comes to a head for wrestling’s greatest prize. Who leaves with the IWGP World title?

9th Match: STRONG Openweight No Rope, Last Man Standing- Eddie Kingston vs Gabe Kidd

Singles record: 1–0–1 Kingston

Gabe Kidd carries deep personal grudges with a lot of people, but Eddie Kingston may just be the deepest. Kidd cost himself the NEVER Openweight Championship opposite Shingo Takagi when he attempted to prove a violent point; in a last man standing environment, inflicting violence is the point in and of itself. Will he win his first singles title?

8th Match: NEVER Openweight Championship- Shingo Takagi vs Yuya Uemura

Singles record: 2–0 Shingo

New KOPW 2024 title holder Yuya Uemura has been picking more fights ever since he won the gold, and tonight clashes with NEVER Openweight Champion Shingo Takagi. Uemura wants revenge for defeat in the New Japan Cup- can he earn that revenge, and more gold round his waist?

7th Match: NJPW World TV Championship- Jeff Cobb vs Lance Archer

Singles record: 2–0 Cobb

When Jeff Cobb won the NJPW World TV Championship from Zack Sabre Jr. at Dontaku, he was quick to issue an open challenge for anyone to take his gold. Lance Archer was quick to step up; the Murderhawk Monster has never beaten Cobb one on one, and now seeks to do so under 15 minutes.

6th Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Zack Sabre Jr.

Singles record: 7–5 Tanahashi

Now without gold round his waist thanks to Jeff Cobb, Zack Sabre Jr. is setting his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship. Before he can begin that campaign in earnest though, Sabre has a loss in the Tokyo Dome to Tanahashi to avenge.

5th Match: Los Ingobernables De Japon (Yota Tsuji & Tetsuya Naito) vs BULLET CLUB (David Finlay & KENTA)

After David Finlay defeated Yota Tsuji en route to capturing the IWGP Global Championship the very next night in Fukuoka, the new Global Champion teams with KENTA to face Tsuji and Naito in California. Will the LIJ side be able to get back on track after a difficult few days?

4th Match: STRONG Women’s Championship- Stephanie Vaquer vs Alex Windsor

Alex Windsor made her NJPW US debut at Windy City Riot, and won in tag team competition in impressive form. Now the former RevPro Unidsputed Women’s Champion seeks STRONG gold in only her third match on the cerulean blue mat.

3rd Match: NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championships- TMDK (Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) vs Guerrillas of Destiny (El Phantasmo & Hikuleo)

Tag record: 1–0 TMDK

With a roll up (and a handful of tights) El Phantasmo and Hikuleo earned a second rematch against Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls after the TMDK side captured the STRONG gold in a four way in Chicago. With a controversial finish to the IWGP Tag battle between Bishamon and BULLET CLUB at Dontaku leaving a bad taste in the mouth, STRONG pride will likely be on display from the self professed ‘Masters of the Power Bottom’ in TMDK.

2nd Match: Dirty Work (Fred Rosser & Tom Lawlor) vs West Coast Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson)

The Dirty Work team of Fred Rosser and Tom Lawlor take to Lawlor’s former Team Filthy stablemates in Isaacs and Nelson in the second match of the evening. After a brutal attack saw the West Coast Wrecking Crew cut (and even eat) Lawlor’s hair, vengeance is in the air.

1st Match: The DKC, Tomohiro Ishii & Rocky Romero vs HOUSE OF TORTURE (EVIL, Ren Narita & Jack Perry)

HOUSE OF TORTURE invade an NJPW America card as a unit for the first time as Ren Narita and Jack Perry return from Windy City Riot, and EVIL takes the helm. Jack Perry has been making a lot of headlines in AEW, but here he joins his Japanese partners. What does the Scapegoat have planned?

Kickoff Match 2: Lio Rush vs Mustafa Ali

Singles record: 1–0 Ali

A testament to the sheer depth of this card is that Lio Rush and Mustafa Ali, a junior heavyweight dream match on any normal night, is ont he kickoff. Rush has a point to prove in his NJPW return, while Ali, upset at not being the center of attention in the wrestling world will likely be affronted by his position.

Kickoff Match 1: STRONG Survivor- Matt Vandagriff vs Adrian Quest

It all gets started in Ontario with the continuation of the STRONG Survivor concept. Matt Vandagriff looks to continue his streak, but can he get the W over a STRONG original in Quest?
